Wedding favours are small keepsake gifts that are given out to wedding guests to remind them of your special occasion. Wedding favours (favors) originated in Italy where they are called bomboniere and were traditionally five sugared almonds, wrapped in delicate tulles and pretty boxes. The almonds symbolise health, wealth, happiness, fertility and long life.
